Designed for precise layout against rules, squares, and gauges. The single bevel geometry allows the knife to register tightly against straightedges for highly accurate marking. For Right handed users, comes shaving sharp.

Handle-Free Design Benefits
The handle-free patterns are intentionally designed for close control during precision layout work. Keeping the knife thin and compact allows it to register cleanly against workpieces and reach into tight joinery spaces without interference.
Holding the knife closer to the cutting edge also improves tactile feedback and control during fine marking operations. In addition, the flat profile makes the knives easy to sharpen using honing guides such as the Veritas MKII.
